Run. Finish it later. If you can't win, exhausting yourself isn't a good idea. You'll obviously be screwed either way. Might as well run away and group up with some psions and take out the entity. Or at least prepare yourself for the next fight.

As there is no definition of "win" I am unable to post a reply.
Wouldn't matter anyway. I try to size up each and every situation as it occurs, rather than have a pre-determined idea that just isn't applicable to every situation.

I always, ALWAYS try to find a peaceful, diplomatic solution to any fight, psionic or otherwise. There are never any tre winners in any battle, only losers and survivors. Still, if confrontation is unavoidable, I do not resort to martyrdom. Some people do deserve having their ass handed to them after all.
