my first comments were truth but yes it would be difficult at best to get authorities to assist in the assult charges. in my second comment I was trying to be funny and you make my comments seem as if they were wierd.

I've changed my mind since my last post. Too many people like to attack noobs to boost their own ego and or do other nasty things. Beside this point if the person is genuinely a noob said person is very unlikely to have done something energetically that would warrant
a well tempered and skilled person to attack a significantly weaker one. Most disputes of this kind could do well with big brother stepping in and giving the schoolyard bully a decent wailing. On the other hand those who are much stronger than the average noob and are quite skilled know better than to fight for no reason and in that case it's better to step back and let the big kids pelt each other into submission with their paint guns unless you like being in a shoot out with air soft pellets and a straw versus both of their paint ball guns set for full automatic.

I hate to go cliché on you but with power comes responsibility. But rather than harming the attacker I generaly send my web constructs to stop outgoing psi from the attacker untill I've determined the threat level of the offender and then act accordingly.

Depends what mood I'm in and the relationship with the individuals concerned.

EDIT: History has a big part of it as well. I mean, if I see someone with a history of bullying, extortion, rape and violence getting a good kicking of their own, do you really think I'm going to try to stop it?

Also, if the individuals concerned are a mother and child, and the child is getting a telling off from the mother, then I'm on a hiding to nothing if I try to intervene. "Mother knows best" and all the other feminist belief principles will overcome all logic in such a situation.

So, depends on me (mood), history, and situtation. One point - if I do intervene, I'm certainly not going to go in all guns blazing. I have done, and invariably end up with my arse shot away.
